A high profile cruise ship needed flooring repairs due to its old systems starting to crack in heavy traffic area’s and becoming noticeable by passengers. Due to short turnaround times a fast curing solution was required.

Cruise ships like most of the marine vessels we have completed work on, have quick turnaround times and require a fast installation and low inconvenience to passengers.

We installed SikaFloor Marine Litosilo on board a high profile cruise ship. The product provides a sound reducing floating floor for A60 constructions. Due to time restrictions, noise and a dusty environment, it was highly important to plan around the ships turnaround times and work at night in order to keep inconvenience to a minimum.

As the cruise ship would still have passengers onboard it was important to keep disruption to a minimum. The installation had to be completed during the short turnaround so fast curing products were essential.
